Terms and conditions of sale
In force as of 16/10/2026.
1. Purpose and scope
These terms and conditions of sale (T&Cs) govern sales concluded on the website www.ledomatic.com between the seller and any natural person acting for non-professional purposes (the “customer”). They apply to the exclusion of any other terms. The customer declares having read and accepted them before confirming the order, by ticking the box provided for this purpose. The applicable T&Cs are those in force on the date of the order.
2. Seller
PLEVOO, a French single-shareholder simplified joint-stock company (SASU) with a share capital of €1, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 990 246 266
60 Rue François 1er 75008 PARIS
SIRET: 990 246 266 000 11 — VAT number: FR29 990 246 266
Contact: hello@ledomatic.com
3. Products
The objects offered are designed, assembled and tested by hand, in small batches, to order. Their essential characteristics are presented on each product page. Photographs and renderings are as accurate as possible but not contractual: slight variations in appearance may exist from one piece to another, without affecting operation.
Connected objects. The waiting-time display works with a Wi-Fi connection (2.4 GHz) connected to the Internet, provided by the customer. It displays the timetables of the transport networks of the cities listed on the product page, based on public data provided by the transport authorities (in particular Île-de-France Mobilités). The availability and accuracy of these data depend on these third-party services.
Personalisation. When personalised engraving is offered, the customer enters the text to be engraved and checks its spelling before ordering: the text is engraved exactly as entered. The seller may refuse a text that is unlawful, offensive or infringes the rights of a third party; the order is then cancelled and refunded.
4. Prices
Prices are shown in euros, all taxes included (French VAT at the applicable rate included). The price of options (mount, engraving…) is added to the product price. Delivery costs depend on the delivery country and the number of items: they are shown in the cart, together with the carrier, before the order is confirmed. The applicable price is the one displayed at the time of ordering. Promotional codes apply under the conditions stated when they are issued and cannot be combined.
5. Ordering
The customer selects products and their options, adds them to the cart, chooses the delivery country, enters their details, accepts these T&Cs and then proceeds to payment. Before payment, they can check the details and total price of the order and correct any errors. The order becomes final once payment is confirmed; a summary email is then sent to the customer.
The seller reserves the right to cancel or refuse an order in the event of an existing dispute with the customer, suspected fraud or unavailability of a component; the customer is then informed and refunded in full.
6. Payment
Payment is made online, at the time of ordering, on the secure page of our provider Stripe (bank card and other methods offered on that page). Bank details are processed exclusively by Stripe and never pass through our servers. The order is only processed once payment has been confirmed.
7. Production and delivery
Each object is made after the order. The production time shown on the product page (generally 1 to 2 weeks) is added to the transit time of the carrier chosen in the cart. Unless otherwise stated, the object is delivered no later than 30 days after the order. A tracking number is emailed on dispatch.
Products are delivered to the address given by the customer, in the countries offered in the cart. Risk passes to the customer when the parcel is handed over. If a parcel is damaged or incomplete, the customer is asked to note reservations with the carrier and to inform us within 48 hours, with photos, so that we can help.
In the event of late delivery, the customer may, after requiring the seller to deliver within a reasonable time, terminate the contract in writing if delivery has not taken place within that time (articles L216-6 et seq. of the French Consumer Code). The sums paid are then refunded no later than 14 days after termination.
8. Right of withdrawal
In accordance with articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the customer has 14 days from receipt of the product to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to give reasons. They inform the seller of their decision by an unambiguous statement, by email to hello@ledomatic.com or using the form at the end of these T&Cs.
The product must be returned complete, in its original condition, no later than 14 days after communicating the decision, to the seller's address. Return costs are borne by the customer. The seller refunds all sums paid, including the initial delivery costs (on the basis of the standard delivery rate), no later than 14 days after being informed of the withdrawal, using the same means of payment; the refund may be withheld until the product has been received. The customer may be held liable for any loss in value of the product resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and proper functioning.
Exception — personalised products. In accordance with article L221-28, 3° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the customer's specifications or clearly personalised, in particular objects bearing a personalised engraving. These objects remain covered by the legal warranties (article 9).
9. Legal warranties
All products benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity (articles L217-3 to L217-20 of the French Consumer Code) and the warranty against hidden defects (articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code), free of charge for the customer.
The consumer has two years from delivery of the goods to obtain the application of the legal guarantee of conformity if a lack of conformity appears. During this period, the consumer only has to establish the existence of the lack of conformity and not the date on which it appeared.
The legal guarantee of conformity entails an obligation for the professional, where applicable, to provide all updates necessary to keep the goods in conformity.
The legal guarantee of conformity entitles the consumer to have the goods repaired or replaced within thirty days of the request, free of charge and without major inconvenience. The consumer may obtain a reduction of the purchase price by keeping the goods, or terminate the contract and obtain a full refund against return of the goods, if: the professional refuses to repair or replace the goods; the repair or replacement takes place after a period of thirty days; the repair or replacement causes major inconvenience to the consumer; the lack of conformity persists despite the seller's unsuccessful attempt to remedy it. The consumer is also entitled to a price reduction or to termination of the contract when the lack of conformity is so serious that it justifies an immediate price reduction or termination.
The consumer may suspend payment of all or part of the price, or the provision of the benefit provided for in the contract, until the seller has fulfilled its obligations under the legal guarantee of conformity.
Independently of the legal guarantee of conformity, the consumer benefits from the legal warranty against hidden defects for two years from the discovery of the defect. This warranty entitles the consumer to a price reduction if the goods are kept, or to a full refund against return of the goods.
Any professional who obstructs in bad faith the application of the legal guarantee of conformity is liable to a civil fine of up to 300,000 euros, which may be increased to 10% of the average annual turnover (article L241-5 of the French Consumer Code).
To make a warranty claim, the customer contacts the seller at hello@ledomatic.com, describing the problem (photos or video welcome).
Battery. When the object includes a rechargeable battery, its capacity naturally decreases with use and time: this normal wear does not constitute a lack of conformity.
10. Liability
The seller cannot be held liable for damage resulting from use that does not comply with the instructions (exposure to water or heat, opening the case, unsuitable power supply…), nor for an interruption or error of the third-party services on which the object depends (the customer's Wi-Fi network and Internet access, real-time transport data). The times displayed are indicative. Nothing in these T&Cs limits the customer's rights under the legal warranties.
Insurance. PLEVOO SASU carries out its activity under a professional liability insurance policy in force, of the Technology + Cyber liability type (policy no. ORCP26522), taken out with CNA Insurance Company (Europe) S.A. (CNA Hardy), 4 rue Auber, 75009 Paris, through the broker ONLYNNOV. This policy covers the financial consequences of its civil liability for material and immaterial damage caused to third parties by its connected products and its technology activity, as well as its liability for data security (Cyber section), up to €500,000 per claim and per insurance period for each of these sections, worldwide, within the limits, conditions and exclusions of the policy. Details are given in the legal notice; the insurance certificate can be provided upon legitimate request. This insurance in no way limits the customer's rights under the legal warranties.
11. Personal data
The data collected when ordering are necessary to process and deliver the order. Their use and the customer's rights are described in the privacy policy.
12. Intellectual property
The texts, visuals, logos, object designs and embedded software remain the exclusive property of the seller. Purchasing an object does not confer any right to reproduce or exploit these elements.
13. Customer service and complaints
For any question or complaint: hello@ledomatic.com or via the Contact page. We usually reply within 48 working hours.
14. Consumer mediation
In accordance with articles L611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, in the event of a dispute not resolved after a written complaint to the seller, the customer may use the following consumer mediator free of charge:
Name: Société de la Médiation Professionnelle – Médiateurs Associés
Correspondence address: Alteritae, 5 rue Salvaing, 12000 Rodez, France
Website: www.mediateur-consommation-smp.fr
Email: saisine@mediateur-consommation-smp.fr
15. Applicable law
These T&Cs are governed by French law. Failing an amicable settlement, the dispute will be brought before the competent courts under ordinary law; the consumer customer may, at their choice, refer the matter to the court of the place where they lived at the time the contract was concluded or the damage occurred.
16. Data collected by the LEDoMATIC module and the customer area
This section describes exhaustively the data exchanged between your module, our server and your customer area. It supplements our privacy policy.
16.1. What the module sends to our server
The module only communicates with our server (hosted in the European Union) and with time servers. It never queries the transport networks directly: our server retrieves the timetables from them. The operators (RATP, SNCF, etc.) therefore see neither your module nor your IP address.
With each exchange, our server receives:
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| Module serial number and its secret key (checked using a fingerprint, never stored in plain text) | Recognise your module and reject copies |
| Public IP address of your Internet connection | Route the response, detect a copied module or abusive use |
| Firmware version and installed city pack | Offer suitable updates |
| Chosen city, line and stops for which you request timetables (technical identifiers) | Calculate the next departures |
| Date and time of the request | Limit the frequency of calls and ensure proper operation |
What the module never sends: the name or password of your Wi-Fi network (they stay stored in the module), your geographical location, data about other devices on your network. The module has no microphone, no camera and no presence sensor.
To set its clock, the module also queries public time servers (pool.ntp.org, time.google.com). These servers only receive the IP address of your connection, without any other information.
16.2. What the customer area keeps
To use the customer area, we keep:
- your account data: email address, first name, last name, password (stored in an irreversibly encrypted form, unreadable even by us), sign-up and last login dates;
- the modules linked to your account: serial number, the name you give them, chosen city and designs;
- your choice whether or not to receive our news by email.
The customer area only uses a technical session cookie, essential to stay logged in. There is no audience measurement tool, no advertising, no tracker and no call to a third-party service.
16.3. Purposes
These data are used only to:
- deliver real-time timetables to your module;
- manage remote updates of the module (firmware and city data);
- secure the service: recognise genuine modules, detect a copied key or abusive use, protect accounts against repeated login attempts;
- let you manage your modules from the customer area and send you account-related emails (address confirmation, forgotten password);
- send you our news, only if you have agreed to it (one-click unsubscribe in each email or from “My account”).
No profiling and no analysis of your journeys or habits is carried out.
16.4. Retention periods
Deletions are automatic, every night.
| Data | Period |
|---|---|
| Server technical logs (IP address, timetable request, date) | 14 days, then automatic deletion |
| Module's last IP address and last contact | Only the latest value is kept (replaced at the next contact) |
| Module history (IP address changes) | 90 days |
| Module history (version, city and pairing changes) | 1 year |
| Security reports | IP address erased after 90 days, report deleted after 1 year |
| Login attempts to the customer area | 1 day |
| Emails sent | 1 year |
| Confirmation and password reset links | 7 days after use or expiry |
| Customer account | Until it is deleted; account never confirmed and without a module: 30 days |
| Encrypted database backups | 14 days |
The stops and lines viewed are not recorded in our database: they only appear in the technical logs, deleted after 14 days.
16.5. No resale, no commercial sharing
Your data are not sold, rented, transferred or shared for commercial or advertising purposes. Only two technical providers have access to them, strictly within the limits of their task and without being able to use them on their own behalf:
| Provider | Role | Data concerned |
|---|---|---|
| IONOS SE, Germany | Hosting of the server and database | All the data above |
| IONOS SE, Germany | Sending emails | Recipient address, subject and content of the email |
All data are hosted in the European Union.
16.6. Your rights
From the customer area, under “My account”, you can at any time:
- download your data (JSON file);
- change your name, email address and password;
- unpair a module: the link between the module and your account is deleted immediately;
- delete your account: your modules are unpaired and your account data erased.
For any other request (access, objection, restriction, question), write to us at hello@ledomatic.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (www.cnil.fr).
17. Environment and recycling
PLEVOO fulfils its obligations to recycle electrical and electronic equipment under extended producer responsibility (EPR) through its membership of the eco-organisation Ecologic (IDU: FR559717_05KKLM). The price of the products includes the contribution paid for this purpose to fund their collection and recycling.
At the end of its life, the product must not be thrown away with household waste: it can be taken to a collection point for electrical equipment or returned to us. When you buy new equipment, we take back your old equipment of the same type free of charge (“one for one” take-back). Details are given in the legal notice.
